Elijah Interfaith Institute and Praying Together in Jerusalem invite you to a unique interfaith prayer and teaching session on Thursday July 2 at 6 pm Israel time (11 am EDT).

What lessons can COVID-19 teach us that are relevant to the concerns over racism that are emerging internationally and what are spiritual foundations for relating to both major issues of global concern?

Ven. Karma Lekshe Tsomo, USA
Karma Lekshe Tsomo is an Assistant Professor of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of San Diego. She is president of Sakyadhita: International Association of Buddhist Women and director of Jamyang Foundation, an initiative to provide educational opportunities for women in developing countries, especially in the Indian Himalayas and Bangladesh.
Rabbi David Wolpe, USA
Rabbi David Wolpe is Rabbi of Temple Sinai, Los Angeles, and has been named the most influential rabbi in the United States by Newsweek Magazine. Wolpe is the Max Webb Senior Rabbi of Sinai Temple. He previously taught at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in New York, the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, Hunter College, and UCLA.
Imam Plemon El Amin, USA
Imam El Amin has served for the past 24 years as the Resident Imam of the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam. He worked closely as an aide and supporter of Imam W. Deen Mohammed and his Ministry for 33 years and takes his place on the EBWRL following the latter’s death in 2008. Imam El Amin holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University. His insightful and hands-on approach to leadership has helped develop the Atlanta Masjid into one of the largest and most progressive Muslim communities in the US.
