Join us TODAY, this Thursday, January 25th at 5pm Jerusalem time.
Featuring member of the Elijah Board of World Religious Leaders and Holocaust survivor, Rabbi Awraham Soetendorp in conversation with Peta Jones Pellach.
With a response and prayers from Wiesław Dawidowski, Roman Catholic priest from Poland, who is co-chair of the Polish Council of Christian and Jews.
Followed by prayers and meditation from Swamini Adityananda Saraswati.

Centralne obchody odbędą się w piątek, 26 stycznia 2024 r., w Łodzi. Spotkanie rozpocznie się o godz. 16:00 w Wyższym Seminarium Duchownym przy ul. św. Stanisława Kostki 14.

Temat wyznaczony, ale i zadany na tegoroczne obchody Dnia Judaizmu, to słowa: „SZALOM / Pokój – Dar Boga”. I tak, w istocie jest – zarówno dla chrześcijan, jak i dla Żydów pokój jest obietnicą, darem Boga. Nic nie dają próby zapewnienia pokoju siłą, prawem czy armią. Bez sensu są wszelkie próby narzucania pokoju na własnych warunkach czy „walki o pokój”, która rodzi raczej pokłady nieufności, a nawet wrogości. Jesteśmy przekonani, że pokój to nie tylko brak wojny, ale przestrzeń możliwego spotkania we wzajemnej ufności i zrozumieniu – to budowanie mostów miedzy ludźmi, kulturami, religiami i narodami… Do tego zapraszamy wszystkich ludzi dobrej woli, chrześcijan z wszystkich Kościołów oraz wyznawców judaizmu, a okazji do spotkań będzie wiele

„Szalom/Pokój – Dar Boga” to hasło kolejnego Dnia Judaizmu w Kościele Katolickim, który będziemy obchodzić 16 stycznia w specjalnie przygotowanym namiocie postawionym na miejscu synagogi przy ul. Zgierskiej 27.
O godz. 19.00 dwugłos zatytułowany: Judaizm i chrześcijaństwo o wojnie z rabinem Dawidem Szychowskim i kard. Grzegorzem Rysiem, o godz. 20.15 – liturgia Słowa, po której będzie poczęstunek.
