Throughout 2024 we have been honored to serve as a global meeting place for religious voices and for the aspiration of prayer for peace and for human dignity. Our gatherings, ranging from weekly to monthly, have kept up the momentum of a community and have provided continuity of teaching and inspiration for hundreds of faithful of all faiths, worldwide.

The gathering will be in two parts: early in the day, the Jerusalem Interfaith Forum, of which Praying Together is a member, will hold interfaith prayers for the success of the forthcoming olive harvest, on which so many Palestinians rely for their sustenance. This will be an in-person gathering

On 7.11 we will go together (Rabbis for Human Rights, The Interfaith Human Rights Forum and Praying Together in Jerusalem) to an interfaith olive harvest in the West Bank (in the Jerusalem area). We invite you to go out with us - clergy, communities, organizations and partners. We will pick olives, stop to chat and have an interfaith prayer during the day.

When the Holy Land was once again plunged into violence on October 7th last year, Elijah Interfaith responded with intensified prayers. Our ongoing program, Praying Together in Jerusalem, increased its activity from monthly to weekly gatherings under the subject-line, "Upholding the Dignity of the Human Person." Weekly, teachings were offered by leaders and teachers of all major faiths, highlighting the value of the human person as an ideal that must be maintained, even at times of war and even following the events of October 7th. These teachings were followed by prayers, suitable to the context, and more broadly with the hope for eventual peace. After half a year of learning and praying, we created this short video compilation.
